
Vince Gill was destined to be a Hall of Fame. The veteran country singer and multi-instrumentalist has been raising hell in the country charts for more 20, and his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007 was her last appearance at the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Gill has been busy with public performances at the famed Ford Theater, playing a series of three performances for the annual Hall of Fame artist-in-residence series.

Hall, Cowboy Jack Clement, Kris Kristofferson, Guy Clark and Jerry Douglas, who have occupied the musical number in the Hall of Fame as well.
Vince Gill has come a long way from his hometown of Norman, Oklahoma, where began to shape and mold their famous musical career. Gill grew up in a musical family, picking up the banjo and guitar for his teenage years. After learning to fiddle, dobro, mandolin and bass, Gill focused its efforts exclusively on music and joined the bluegrass band Mountain Smoke, which reached the peak of his fame when the band opened for Pure Prairie League in concert. Gill, later joined the country-rock band as a singer in Pure Prairie League late '70s, the time of going solo in 1983 with the help of a recording contract with RCA.
In 1984, Vince Gill made his solo debut to the nation, the release of Turn Me Loose and recording their first single on the charts in country music with the single "victim of circumstances of Life." The duet "If not for him" with Roseanne Cash gave Gill his first Top 10 single soon after, and the visitors kept rolling from there.
